Syrian & Palestinian Children Deserve the Happiness of Eid

Meet Monzer, 11-years-old and his little sister, Ghena, who is just 4. Their home was destroyed by the Syrian military and the family lives in very poor conditions in Aqyoul, one of the neighborhoods we serve in Aleppo. Our field staffer, Abdulrahman was able to deliver their Eid gifts a few days early and the kids were thrilled.

BeddawiCrowdAgain this year, Mercy-USA is bringing a little joy into the lives of kids surviving in some of the worst circumstances imaginable. Children in Aleppo and in the surrounding countryside will be given Eid gifts to lessen the heartache and trauma they’re experiencing right now.
We are also hosting a two-day Eid gala for Palestinian and now Syrian Refugee children in the Beddawi Camp in Lebanon. We have volunteers who will give the kids tram rides, games, sweets and toys. Fun and engaging activities are designed to endear the Syrian and Palestinian children to each other now that they are sharing some of the same dire conditions. These kids live in extreme poverty and this annual party is something they look forward to each year.

Please share your blessings with innocent children who have so little and suffer so much. Your gift of just $25 will tell Syrian and Palestinian children they’re loved and not forgotten this Eid.
