Data Specialist (Local Candidates)

Position
Reporting to the Senior Financial Officer the Data Specialist will be responsible for entering data from various sources into the CRM software to organize and optimize its donor relations. The successful candidate will prepare relevant reports, and resolve any deficiencies in data.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Specialist will perform the following duties:
• Maintain the database by entering new and updated information
• Prepare source data by compiling and sorting information
• Check source documents to ensure accuracy
• Enter data into database software
• Resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures
• Create data backups and software updates
• Maintain accurate and thorough records
• Prepare relevant reports
• Provide general data entry support to the team
• Comply with data integrity and policies

Qualifications
• Associates degree or higher
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Proficiency in the use of:
– Word processing
– Database
– Spreadsheets
– Internet research
• Conscientious with good attention to detail
• Reliable
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Willing to learn new skills
• Adaptable
• Works well in a team

Experience

+2 years of experience in data entry or related work is a plus
