Keep Children Warm in Syria

With your help Mercy-USA is providing protection from the cold for children and their families in Syria.

After 10 years of war, Syrian families are exhausted and losing hope. To make things worse, Covid-19 is spreading through camps for internally displaced people.  The majority of internally displaced people in northwest Syria will find warm clothing and shoes to be unaffordable. Milions of people are living in substandard housing or uninsulated tent homes. Beaten down by so much hardship families are suffering even more now than can be imagined.

We can’t let them fight this battle alone!

Mercy-USA is distributing vouchers for local shops, so needy families can get new winter clothes and footwear for their children.  A donation of just $40 will provide the following for a child,  elderly person or a person with disabilities who will be struggling to stay warm this winter.

1 pair of boots
1 jacket
1 pair of trousers or sweat pants
1 sweater or sweat shirt
1 set of thermal underwear (1 each top and bottom)
1 pair of socks
1 scarf
1 hat
1 pair of gloves

Your gift of $40 provides one pair of boots, a warm winter coat, one pair of sweatpants, a sweatshirt, one set of thermal underwear, a winter hat,  three pairs of socks, and a winter scarf.

Your donation to Mercy-USA can provide help to families who have recently fled their homes with nothing to stay warm this winter!
