Mercy-USA has been providing winter help in Syria since 2015 and supporting Gaza with emergency relief for almost twice as long.
We need your help to provide desperately needed winter relief for families who are now homeless, surviving in conditions we can’t imagine.
Our Winter Emergency Relief will target surviving families in Gaza with whatever is needed most the minute we can reach them. When you’ve survived the trauma they have been enduring, the last thing you worry about is the approaching cold weather. Babies and children will need warmth, everyone will need shelter and protection from the elements.
In Syria, we already know the problems faced by families. Thousands are still homeless from the major earthquakes that struck earlier this year in NW Syria. Before this disaster, families were struggling each winter to source fuel to light their stoves, find protection from the freezing rains and mud or even buy warm clothes for their children.
