Stop Syria's civil war, for sake of country's children
Babies washing up on beaches and desperate families struggling across Europe have stirred us from an apathetic slumber regarding Syria. Nations will be either magnanimous or heartless in regard to hosting Syrian refugees. As debates play out over how much any one nation can or should do, it’s worth considering a recent USAID estimate that 12.2 million people, including 5.5 million children, inside Syria are caught in the country’s brutal civil war and need help.
