Gaza Crisis
Mercy-USA for Aid and Development
According to Reuters on July 10, 2024 " Palestinian health authorities say Israel's ground and air campaign in Gaza has killed more than 38,000 people, mostly civilians, and driven most of the enclave's 2.3 million people from their homes."
Mercy-USA is delivering food aid, fresh produce, daily bread and water to families in Gaza right now!
PLEASE DONATE TO
MERCY-USA’S EMERGENCY FUND TO SUPPORT FAMILIES IN GAZA AFFECTED BY THIS DEVASTATION!
Mercy-USA is helping to ease the suffering in Gaza with the basics of life. We are distributing daily hot meals, fresh bread and produce. Our partner on the ground, the Agricultural & Environmental Development Society (AED) is cooking, packaging and distributing hot meals to families every evening. Upon availability, bottled water and locally-produced fruits and vegetables are also being distributed to these families. Additionally, through our newly sponsored traditional bakery, ten loaves of bread per family are being distributed daily.
And soon, we will upgrade the distribution capacity of a well by installing a solar powered pump, storage tank, piping and spigots that will provide desperately needed fresh water to displaced families in the Bahr al-Nuseirat area in central Gaza.
Your donation to this project provides urgent help for people who are enduring the worst nightmare imaginable.
Children and their families in Gaza have nutritious nightly meals prepared fresh by Mercy-USA partner in Gaza, AED.
In Gaza, many families are saving whatever little fresh water they can find for drinking and using untreated sea water for cooking and sanitation–a recipe for disaster. In Gaza, sea water is not safe for use since sewage is now being pumped into the ocean after the waste water treatment plants have been made inoperable. Donate to help us make a well serve many more families in central Gaza with clean water.
Our partner, AED distributes fresh, seasonal produce as soon as it's harvested. Tons of fresh watermelons were recently distributed to families in the Bahr al-Nuseirat area in central Gaza.
