Computer Training, English Instruction & Mentorship

From 2009 to 2025 Mercy-USA for Aid and Development had been providing three-month computer office software and English language training courses to orphans in Albania.

In addition to the technical training these orphans received, they were mentored by caring Mercy-USA staff members who taught essential life skills that served the students as they entered adulthood. Mercy-USA mentors provided character development training that nurtured the whole child and taught the values of honesty, hard work, and integrity. This character training encouraged the at-risk youth to avoid criminal responses to hardship, and gave them confidence to join the workplace after their schooling was complete. The trainees were also provided with a nutritious meal or snack during each class. This project was done in cooperation with local orphanages.
