Emergency Food Aid for Earthquake Victims in Turkey

Mercy-USA has relief coordination offices in Antakya, one of the hardest hit areas affected by the devastating earthquakes which enabled us to begin relief efforts immediately. 

Mercy-USA distributed nightly hot meals to families made homeless by the major earthquake in Antakya, Turkey. We also distributed dawn and sunset meals during Ramadan after the quake. These families were struggling to find permanent housing and lacked resources to meet their daily needs. 

These nightly meals eased their burden, especially in the early weeks when there was no place to even buy food nearby.
