In the north-western province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan has been devastated by flash flooding with at least 800 dead and more missing during August, 2025 with more heavy rains predicted into September.
Mercy-USA is providing emergency relief in Bruner where a recent cloudburst caused nearly 6 inches of rain to fall in one hour. After two days of heavy monsoon rains, the cloudburst caused, water, rocks and trees to sweep down the mountain burying homes and businesses in Bruner.
Our emergency relief kits contain urgently needed items such as mosquito nets, tarps, blankets, hygiene kits, lamp, floor mats and containers for water and food storage/preparation.
